Banking for merchants
Getting paid is half the job. The other half is where it lands.
Settlement accounts arranged through our network of banks, for merchants that fit our risk appetite — with the movement visible in the same dashboard as your transactions.
Bank network
We don't run a bank. We know the ones that say yes.
Opening a settlement account as a payments-heavy business is a documentation exercise most banks would rather decline than understand. We've already had that conversation, repeatedly, with the banks in our network.
- Introduction to the bank most likely to accept your profile
- One document pack, prepared once, rather than five rejections
- Someone who can explain your business model in the bank's language
Settlement accounts
Available to merchants we'd take on anyway.
This isn't an open product. Settlement accounts go to businesses that already sit inside our risk appetite — the same standard we apply before processing a single transaction for anyone.
- Accounts for receiving and holding settlement, not for retail banking
- Eligibility assessed as part of the same onboarding review
- Availability and terms confirmed per merchant, never assumed
Reconciliation
Settlement and transactions, on one screen.
Where the flow runs through our gateway, settlement lines are matched against transactions automatically and shown in the same dashboard. Anything outside that flow stays your bank's view — we won't pretend otherwise.
- Settlement matched to transactions where both run through us
- Exceptions flagged with a cause rather than a question mark
- Exports that go straight into your accounting system
Questions
The ones people actually ask
Is BergoPay a bank?
No. We are a licensed payment institution in Poland. Accounts are held with banks in our network; our role is to arrange the relationship and keep the settlement view coherent.
Can we get an account without processing with you?
Generally no. Settlement accounts exist to support merchants we already work with, and eligibility is assessed against the same risk appetite.
Do you offer personal or retail accounts?
No. This is a business product for merchants, built around settlement rather than day-to-day banking.

Tell us where your money currently sits.
Send us your business model, your markets and your settlement setup. You'll get a straight answer on whether an account is realistic, and which bank in our network is the right conversation.
BergoPay is not a bank and does not accept deposits. Accounts are held with partner banks; we arrange the introduction and the settlement view. Availability, eligibility and terms are confirmed per merchant during onboarding review.
